Flubber

Once upon a time, I was a teacher. And we made gallons of this ooey, gooey stuff we affectionately called "flubber."

 It's not quite playdough...

 and not quite silly putty.

 But a sweet spot of stretchy, bendy, oozy fun right in between.

The only downfall is that it requires kind of an obscene amount of glue. As in, 2 cups. But, if you're like me and buy your glue by the gallon (I very seriously do) then you'll be just fine.

Flubber

Ingredients:
3 cups Warm Water2 cups Elmer’s White GlueLiquid Water Color (food coloring stains)
20 Mule Team Borax

Mix together

1.5C warm water

2C white glue

In a separate bowl mix together:

1 1/3C warm water

2t Borax

Make sure it's dissolved or you'll have grainy bits in your flubber. Not good.

Now, for the fun:
Dump the borax mixture into the glue. Stir until a gooey blob form. The flubber will be very wet and sticky, but once kneaded for a minute or two will turn into fun times! 

Store in an air tight container or ziploc bag. Enjoy!
