Love Thy Neighbor

One of the things I like best about our apartment is our neighbors. It makes this big city seem a little smaller. As with any small community, all of our business (as boring as it usually is) is everyone's business. When we found out I was pregnant one of my neighbors somehow knew even though we hadn't told anyone. After that there was little point in breaking the news to anyone; it was common knowledge. Not only do we share business, we share stuff. Just yesterday a neighbor showed up at my door with this:

Apparently her little one is too big for it and she thought it was just the right size for Katelyn. Look how grown up she looks on it!
This sharing is not limited to toys and gossip. Sometimes a quiet knock on the door is met with a plate of brownies or a bag of cookies! Whoever invented neighbors was really smart.

Well that was nice of your neighbor. I think Andrew has the boyish version of that toy. Hopefully Aveya won't mind since she gets all his stuff now.

What a coincidence! We just bought that for Katelyn for Christmas, but don't tell her, let it be a surprise.
