A few weekends ago Nicholas' cub scout troop hosted a Mom-Son campout.
They made armpit fudge. Of course they did.
Mmm! Fresh fudge from your very own pits! I didn't taste it, but it seemed like the boys really liked it.
I didn't know it, but skits are required on boy scout trips. This one is pretty funny!
The younger boys (pretty much all the boys in Nicholas's pack) were exhausted by about 8pm. Just look at that face!
I have to admit, I had low expectations for a campout, particularly in winter. But this was SO much fun! It was so nice to spend time with just Nicholas and watch him play with his friends.
