He no longer loves Lightning McQueen or Thomas the Train. No, he's moved on to dinosaurs and hard. He collects dinosaur facts and peppers me with them throughout the day. Did you know Velociraptor has three claws on its tiny arms and T-Rex only has 2? Indeed they do. His favorite movie is Land Before Time and he's convinced his baby sister that it's her favorite movie too, so that any time they have a chance, they both want to watch it. He loves T-Rexes and Quetzalcoatluses because "they're both kings" and proclaims meatballs his favorite meal (at least some things never change). He's quick with his temper but just as cuddly an tender hearted as ever. He's starting to read and if the mood strikes him, he might just color or write.
I don't want to think about next year and him being six because it actually might kill me dead.
To celebrate our little boy's birthday we hosted a little dino-themed party.
All his dino-buddies stopped down to celebrate, and a couple of little boys too.
Happy Birthday, Nicholas. Now don't you dare turn six.
