Scenes From Our Yard

Last week was spring break in Bamalama and we used it to run to Wisconsin and purchase a home. Yes, that's right! We're homeowners! You know, if you don't count all that silly paperwork, contractors and the whole paying for it business.

Before we left, the only clue Mother Nature left that she was about to dump summer on us was the perpetual light dusting of yellow pollen on our cars. We returned a week later to find leaves on shade trees, flowers in bloom and 80 degrees as far as the eye can see. 

Bama, you and me, we're best friends. And I want you to know I never, ever said that to New York.
