March Madness

Before Patrick and I had children we discussed how important it was to both of us that we instill a deep appreciation and respect for sports-related gambling; collegiate sports in particular. While we've  always encouraged the kids to bet on little league games, dance competitions and most recently the pinewood derby; this year marks their first foray into MARCH MADNESS. Kids who are old enough to read andwrite are old enough to place bets and wager their allowance.

We are preparing them for the real world; it's just sound parenting.
Lucy and I made a bracket together, I was surprised how good she was at picking teams. I'm not saying we made a perfect bracket, but I won't be surprised
if we win it all.

And Lola, since she was awake, was doing this.
